Patrons may check out a large variety of books and other materials. The library limits the number of CDs, DVDs, and video games that can be checked out and reserves the right to limit the number of certain seasonal or special interest items. Reference materials may not be checked out. Books may be returned in the outside book drop, however, other materials must be returned inside the library.
PATRONS ARE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ITEMS CHECKED OUT ON THEIR LIBRARY CARDS.
Books, audio books, CDs, puppets, discovery packs, video games, DVDs, and magazines may be borrowed for 3 weeks. Most items are renewable.
Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Most items may be renewed twice if there are no outstanding requests for the item. High demand or special interest items as well as some interlibrary loan items may not be renewable. You may renew in person, over the phone, or on the internet.
Fines are charged for each day an item is overdue at the rate of $.10 a day with the exception of Discovery Backpacks which are $1.00 per item per day.
Fines are not charged for the days the library is closed.
