The Belleville Public Library is in the process of digitizing and archiving local High School and Jr. College yearbooks.

Missing Yearbooks

The following yearbooks are not contained in the Library’s current collection and therefore, cannot be digitized. If you have any of the missing yearbooks and would be willing to loan them to the library to digitize, please contact the library at archives@bellevillepubliclibrary.org, or call 618-234-0441.

Academy of Notre Dame

The Academy of Notre Dame was established in 1925 as a Catholic High School for girls; it was closed at the end of the 1972 school year.

Cathedral Central/Althoff Catholic High School


Cathedral Central High School was established in 1922 as a Catholic high school for boys. In the fall of 1964 the school was consolidated with the newly opened co-ed Althoff Catholic High School.

Belleville Township High School 

Belleville Township High School was established in 1916. At the end of the 1966 school year the school was divided into two campuses forming Belleville West and Belleville East High Schools.

Archived College Yearbooks

Belleville Junior College/Belleville Area College


Belleville Junior College was established in 1946. In 1966, the school became known as Belleville Area College.  In 2000, the college name was changed to Southwestern Illinois College.
